Note: There is a shallow ding / dent in the top tube. It is about 3/4
inch long and 2mm deep -- see last photos. The frame is sound. This American classic is ready for restoration. Over all, I would rate this bike as being in approximately fair cosmetic condition and good mechanical condition. Some rust, grunge, scratches, chipping paint, dulling of chrome, etc. I briefly rode this bike and it tracked straight, and the frame measures straight according to Sheldon Brown's string test. I believe this frameset was built in 1971, and I assume the "P10" stamped into the bottom bracket shell indicates the model. More details: - Approximate Measurements: 24 inch / 61 cm frame (center-top); 59 cm top tube (center-center) - Reynolds 531 butted steel tubes; frame appears to be chrome beneath the paint - I believe the lugs are Prugnat, not the more common Nervex - Came with a 27.2 seatpost - 120 mm rear spacing - English threads Comes with Campagnolo Record headset that appears to be in good condition, binder bolt, Campagnolo cable guide (rusty) and dropout adjuster screws (which are not frozen.) Downtube shifters shown are not included. I can also offer most of the original Campagnolo Record parts (fair condition) for reasonable additional prices. I've done my best to describe this frameset accurately and in depth. I'm confident it will build up into a fine riding bicycle. Please ask any questions before bidding as this item is sold as is with no returns. Thank you.
